MGP-Papier is a privately-held sales and marketing services firm providing unique market knowledge and relationship management services to technical & specialty paper market participants. Our primary function is to facilitate the development and sale of custom-designed specialty papers for both buyers and sellers of such papers. We deliver results for our clients, and do so with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
MGP-Papier was founded in Peterborough, NH by Myles G. Pelletier, a life-long specialty paper sales and marketing executive who acquired extensive knowledge of specialty paper markets and suppliers over the course of his forty-year industry tenure. Myles recognized that both buyers and sellers of specialty papers would benefit enormously from an independent third-party resource with the knowledge required to optimally match paper requirements with supply capabilites. In 1991, he launched MGP-Papier with that purpose in mind.
Since then, the company has experienced dramatic growth in its customer base, supplier network and sales volume, which peaked recently above $60 million per year. Myles’ son, Paul, an experienced computer industry sales executive, joined MGP-Papier in 1999. He was appointed President in 2003, and acquired the company from Myles in 2005, at which time the company’s headquarters was relocated to Glastonbury, CT. The company is well-positioned for continued strong growth in the years to come.
